Can you describe your job in a few words?

As I manage the CO₂ origination in Latin America, I keep a very close relationship with the companies and institutions that are already, or can be in the near future, involved in projects that reduce greenhouse gases emissions. The main objective of my job is to bring to our customers outstanding solutions in the carbon credits sector, including the Project Idea Notes, PDD developments and also offering fair opportunities for credits purchase.

What is your background?

I hold Veterinary Medecine and Master of Science at Universidade de São Paulo (Brazil). I also had Business and Marketing Courses at Columbia Business School (NY-USA), Fundação Getulio Vargas (SP-Brazil) and Fundação Instituto de Administração (SP-Brazil).

I spent 15 years working in marketing and sales for companies such as M. Cassab and Roche. I have been working in CDM business development since 2004.

Why did you choose to work for orbeo?

orbeo has a very special beginning. When I read about its foundation in October 2006, I realized that orbeo would make a difference in the recently born carbon market. orbeo is a JV between two established companies with complementary and synergistic expertise. From Société Générale and Rhodia, orbeo inherited a strong culture and high level of environmental and social responsibility sense. In other words, orbeo is a company created on solid basis, ready to work hard for the major 21st century challenge: the global warming control. There is a lot to do in all Latin America and I am honored to promote the Clean Development Mechanism there.

Can you describe your job in a few words?

I am a sales/marketer that is to say that I advise industrial compliant clients in the management of their carbon portfolio and I help them to make transactions.

What is your background?

I have a Diploma in Agronomic Engineering and a Master in Sustainable Development (HEC Business school). I started in the energy business with an internship in origination management at Rhodia Energy before joining orbeo as a marketer.

Why orbeo?

First I have a real taste for finance and market environment. I also think that there is a lot to do in the CO₂ business which is growing and developing very fast. And I like to work in a reactive and dynamic team, the atmosphere is great.

Can you describe your job in a few words?

I joined orbeo in 2006 as a carbon trader. I work specifically on carbon products such as EUAs, secondary CERs and various structures including SWAPs, Options and interest rates opportunities.

What is your background?

Before working on the carbon area, I was a commodity trader focused on agricultural products within Louis-Dreyfus Commodities.

I hold a Master Degree of Mathematics from Dauphine University and I have been graduated from EM Lyon Business School.

Can you describe your job in a few words?

My main job scope involves CDM projects origination as well as the buying and selling of CERs within the Asia Pacific region.

What is your background?

I am a science graduate with years of experience in IT, Purchasing, Operation and General Management.

I believe global warming is a crucial issue with increasing importance in the coming decades and I am proud to work for a responsible company involved in environment protection activities. orbeo has also offered me a very challenging career thus far and being an individual that thrives on challenges, I look forward to scaling greater heights with the company.
